FAMILIES ON MISSION: JOSH REED

Josh Reed is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the President and Owner of Freedom in Christ Counseling. Since 2014, he has been independently licensed in both Ohio and Tennessee. Over the years, Josh has worked with a variety of agencies and in multiple states, giving him the opportunity and blessing of walking alongside and supporting people from all different backgrounds and circumstances.

But Josh’s passion for helping people goes beyond counseling. Even before beginning his counseling career, he felt an increasing desire to help men grow in their relationship with Jesus—to experience true freedom in Christ and to become the godly, positive role models God has called them to be.

Josh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling.

Josh and his wife, Mandy, are also the co-founders of Dear Dinah, a nonprofit ministry that provides resources, counseling, and the hope of Jesus to individuals who have been impacted by human trafficking.

Josh and Mandy have two sons, and they make their home in New Carlisle, Ohio.
