As such, MedPharm keeps several millions of dollars in inventory, including all of the essential drugs on the World Health Organization’s Essential Drugs list. These generic drugs have an expiration date of 18 months to 4 years, can be drop shipped or combined with other products, and are provided at very reasonable fees. MedPharm has developed a program in which the non-profit is paying only a small fee for the medicines, but can leverage the value for matching grant applications and GIK purposes.
